CAN SEGS/IGS visa extend in new PBS scheme?

Hi,
Just wondering can SEGS/IGS visa holder or those like me just recently finished SGES visa able to extend their visa for another year?

Any body has an idea how it works because i ran out of SGES visa this month but applied for work permit.
