Questions about curtailment letter and premium service

Post by Ophelia » Mon Jul 10, 2017 12:40 pm

Hello!

I left my job 2 months ago and found a new job straight after. My RLMT is about to finish and I am going to use the premium service for the new visa application. My new sponsor has checked with government 3 weeks ago they have not received any notice from previous sponsor yet to curtail my visa. However I am concerned, when I fill in the online application form there is one section asking whether I have ever received any revoke, cancellation or curtailment. Apparently at this stage I will fill in no because no notice from government yet. I am concerned if curtailment letter arrives after filling in the form before going into the premium service centre. Hopefully it is me being paranoid but what should I do if that does happen?

Also, any advice when should the company apply for a CoS for me? would it be better to apply for it the day after the RLMT is finished or it does not matter if they do it on the day?
I saw people got rejected because they were offered Cos on the day.

Please suggest and many thanks

not an issue, dont worry about it.
Best to apply after rlmt is complete. Persuade them to spend £200 and get the faster service to request additional cos, which takes 2 days.

There isn't a question on revocation/curtailment, I think. I filled in the Tier 2 General (Leave to Remain) form a few days ago and it asks if you've ever been asked to leave the country/deported/etc., so the answer in your case if definitely no. Here are the options, none of which are applicable to you. :)

refused a visa for the UK
deported from the UK
removed from the UK
required to leave the UK
refused entry at the UK border
