Will I require a tier 4 student visa as a tier 2 dependent?

Post by kj5576 » Tue Jul 11, 2017 4:42 pm

Hello,

I will be starting university this autumn and will be going on as a dependent on my mother's tier 2 general visa this summer, which will be valid for 5 years. Will I still be required to obtain a tier 4 student visa for the duration of my 4 year undergraduate course, or will being a dependent on a 5 year tier 2 general visa suffice?

I'd appreciate any help on this question.

Thanks.
KJ
