Standard Visitor visa - less than 6 mnths Property document

Post by vmo » Thu Jul 13, 2017 4:25 pm

Hi

I made the visitor application online for my mother , she is not working and she has a property where she lives. In the application though, I entered 'No' for the question in the income section because when I chose 'Yes' it asked for what amount in GBP is incurred as income/rent. I should have entered ' yes' and '0' at least to indicate that my mother has a property, my bad. It was too late to cancel the appointment , request refund and do the application all over again.

My mother submitted the property document with the application but in the application , in the income section, it says No for the question 'do you have any properties/shares/savings?' . When she queried it to the agent VFS chennai , he had insisted that they only collect documents to submit it to High commission and will advise no further. She could have rewritten the answer but I guess she was nervous and thought nothing can be done.

She has travelled to UK in 2007 and to other European countries in the last 10 years. I am her sponsor and I have submitted her bank documents and all the necessary sponsorship documents as well.

I am worried that her visa may be refused as the answer to the property question and availability of the property document is contradictory.

Can anyone provide more information on how strict is UKBA on additional documents and errors in application?
