No SMS/Email update on Tourist Visa for parents from VFS

Hi,

I applied for a tourist visa (Standard Visa - Family Visitor 6 months) for my wife's parents.

They attended the appointment on 29 June 2017 at VFS Chandigarh and also bought the SMS services. Till date (14 Jul 2017), they haven't received any update SMS (the one that comes when VFS despatches the file to UKVI).

I have also not received any email updates (I had given my email for both the files for my mother-in-law and father-in-law) regarding the status of the applications.

Can anyone please help if they have been in a similar situation? I have tried searching all over the internet and there is no way to contact VFS to check if the file was indeed sent to UKVI or not.

I would really appreciate if anybody could help with any email address/phone number or any tip that they used to proceed with this situation. Or, is waiting for the only option? Please let me know if you need additional info from my side.

Hi,
Please help me if you got Visa or not, I'm facing same problem. I have not received any single message or email although I opted sms alert service.
