Application for EEA family member

Post by vince080 » Sun Jul 16, 2017 8:04 am

Hi everyone.
Need your advice please.
I'm UK Resident Permit holder.
I got my renewed visa in 2013, but still haven't divorced my spouse with whom we don't live anymore.
However my main question.
Would i be able to bring my girlfriend to UK without divorcing my wife, my girlfriend isn't EU member as she lives in Central Asia.
I have records of money which i was sending her throughout 13 months since i've been here in England.
What would be the procedures? do i need to show them my financial status, my current job and current salary? what would Home office require from her? do i need the solicitor to get her a visa or is it easier if i do it myself.
please let me know.
Many thanks
Vince

No, as:
1: You are still married to your EEA wife
AND
2. Assuming you don't yet have settled status (PR or ILR) which requires a minimum of 5 years residence in the UK, you are unable to sponsor a fiancee.
AND
3. There is no 'boyfriend/girlfriend visa

How long have you been married and how long have you been separated? Where is your wife at present?

Your post is confusing. You say that you renewed your 'visa' in 2013 but that you have only been living in the UK for 13 months. :?: :?

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Sounds like your are on a UK Spouse visa and the marriage has broken down, in which case you are an overstayer and illegal.

Please confirm.

There is an EEA dimension to the case as CASA correctly observed. It will help if OP is afforded opportunity to clarify things.
