Registration Certificate EEA Online Form

Hi,

I am currently filling online EEA registration certificate form for myself and two of my kids. i have filled all the required fields for myself.But when i have clicked on to add my children in the application form it asks for First parent of my children and second parent of my children. Could someone please tell me what exactly they mean by first parent and second parent? Do i just need to write my name in first parent and my wife name in second parent? Please advise.
