Hello, everybody.
My immigration history is: 2012-2015, BSc, University College London
2015-2016, MSc, Imperial College London
2016-Now, ACCA, BPP University.
I was holding all the T4 visas continuously, and I have got an offer from one of my dream companies. However, I was told by some friends that according to some immigration rules introduced in Nov 2015, the students from "Private Colleges" cannot switch to T2 visa and must apply outside the UK regardless of their previous degrees obtained.
BPP is a recognised institution, however, the course I am studying now is just a professional qualification rather than a degree or diploma.
I have researched online and found details about the rules introduced in Nov 2015, it said: "ban college students from being able to switch visas to Tiers 2 or 5 in the UK, and require them to apply from outside the UK (from November)"
I also read the T2 guidance, but I think I should be able to switch.
I am very confused!!! Please help me!!! Thank you very much!!
