Visitor Visa for Parents

Post by subb2jk » Mon Jul 17, 2017 11:28 pm

Hi,
I am planning to apply visitor visa for my parents. A couple of doubts need to confirm it before. My father is a farmer and all income pay cash in hand and my mother is dependent. I have put money into their joint bank account to maintain funds. I also maintaining a funds in my bank account to sponsor them. My father had two properties of land on his name and also a home on my mother name. All evidences of home like house tax, electricity bill and land registration etc. had them.

There is a typo error (one letter mismatch) in my surname and my parents. my surname was carried out from my educational certificate and hence passport. and also my visa valid upto next five months. Is there any issue for them visitor visa and I for future because i am going to sponsoring them.

Thanks in advance.......

Your parents will need to exhibit strong ties to home country and show financial stability.
Receiving income by cash in hand is going to make things difficult as you cannot explain the funds in the account. Do your best and explain in a letter to the case worker.
You sending money to your parents has no significance. It actually weakens their case as your parents are dependent on you. These transactions will need to be explained in the letter

I had sponsored my parents when I had only 4 months remaining on my visa and this did not cause any issues.
I mentioned in the covering letter that i was extending my visa.

No guarantee they will receive a visa but do your best
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.
