Tier2 Cooling off period

Hello there,
I left UK on August 12th last year and not sure if my VISA got cancelled. But It is updated to UK authorities that I left UK on Aug 12th 2016.

So Can I apply new VISA on Aug 2017? or if I cancel now, I can still apply on Aug 2017

your question is unclear.
You can apply 1 year after the date you left uk. Cancel or not, that doesnt matter.
