United Kingdom Ancestry Visa Procedure

I have the Birth certificate of my Grandfather who was born in England, Grandparents Marriage Certificate, Parents Birth Certificate, Parents Marriage Certificate, Me, My Wife and My Son (15Y) Birth Certificate, Me and my Wife Marriage Certificate. My Family has Valid Passports and local identity cards. I have a Sponsor that is a citizen of the UK.
The questions are:
1) How much balance should my sponsor show in her bank statement?
2) And what are the other documents does my Sponsor have to show?
3) My Parents were married in Church in 1965, but the church started to register marriages only after 2006. I have the certificate from the church but not the Gov't. Will this be acceptable?

Are you a Commonwealth Citizen? Ancestry visa is Commonwealth only.....

And what do you mean by 'sponsor'? You cannot be sponsored for Ancestry visa...
