Tier 4 undergraduate dependants to work in uk1

Hi Moderators,

Currently iam in Tier2 ICT visa since aug 2010 and staying in UK.

My wife (who is currently in UK) wants to do Undergraduate in UK(not masters) - Level 6
If I switch to Tier 4 dependant visa, am I legal to work in UK?

I heard Level 6 undergraduate dependants cannot legally to work in uk, only Level 7 (masters) Tier 4 dependendants can work

is my understanding correct, please guide
