Hi everyone,
My mother-in-law was granted a visa and she arrived 2 weeks ago. We have got PPS number and everything.
I am self-employed and paying for everything. My husband has been refused so many jobs and he is on stamp 4, awaiting the decision of his eu1 card in September.
My husband has an appointment to sign up to Job seekers allowance on Monday, with proof of all the refusals etc. But we are not sure 100% if this will affect his application AND on the EU1 explanatory leaflet, it says that we have to provide proof of dependence on the spouse of the EU citizen if the dependent parent is the spouse's parent.
SO, for my mother-in-law, we have to prove she is dependant on my spouse and not me? the Eu citezin?
If that is true, what kind of proof if my husband is not working? And if he signs up to jobseekers, will she be refused because she is supposed to be dependant on him, but he is dependant on the job seekers?
Please help.
Thanks
