Hi,
I am applying for a UK visitor visa, and plan to visit London for 8-10 days.
I have worked and lived in Bristol, UK for 4-5 months back in 2008.
I was working for an Indian Company, was deputed for a short term project there.
Now (2017) I live and work in US (on H1-B Visa), and I am filling the UK Visitor visa application, and they are asking me if I have visited/lived in UK before. So I answer yes and give the details. Next they ask me if I have a National Insurance (NI) number.
I don't remember if I had one (Most probably I did, but not 100% sure). If I say "Yes", then the form asks me to provide my NI number. Which I don't have/remember now.
What is the best way to approach this ? If I say "No": I don't have a national insurance number, and I had one. That would be presenting false information and my visa could be denied.
