temporary admission

Post by Awadiarra » Mon Jul 24, 2017 4:48 am

I applied for FLP Visa based on me having stayed with my partner( British citizen) for more than two years, since November last year, my solicitor just informed me that some of my documents are returned and a fax for me to report to a detention centre.
A NOTIFICATION TO A PERSON WHO IS LIABLE TO BE DETAINED
Please this has scared me to hell, any advice will be very appreciated

Your application has probably been refused and you are now a person without a valid leave. They ask you to report to ensure that you leave the UK. Otherwise, you may be detained and removed if you don't have any outstanding case/application with the HO.

They will just mark your attendance and ask you to leave no later than 30 days.

You may have to apply for a visa as a partner from outside the UK now. Did your solicitor tell you if you got the right to appeal?

Sad to hear
Don't be scared they won't detain you if you have outstanding representation including an appeal or judicial review.
It's nowadays unlikely to succeed on flr fp unless children involved.you are not married that makes it bit harder anyway.
Make sure they haven't certified your human rights claim before going to report.
What does your solicitor advise?
