Visa4UK travel date

Hi

I logged into the visa4UK account for the spouse visa I have applied for my wife and the intended travel date is showing as 31st August 2017 on the main page. However, on the online application I submitted, I entered the travel date as 7th October to account for 3 months from the date of the application. Can someone clarify this for me?
