I am an african married to an eu citizen and living in Belgium. I have the 5 months card and awaiting for my 5 year card in the next two months. I would like someone in this forum to advice me.

1. With the current 5 month orange card, can I move freely to other schengen countries. If I am controlled by the police what are the consequences. Would it affect my stay in belgium?

2. Is it also possible for me to bring my son who is 18 years to live with us under family reunion? Advice is highly welcome

Exactly which 5 year card have you applied for? Which country is your spouse from?
