Is this true that if I can't find a copy of my WRS any work carried out when the scheme was in operation won't count towards pension, residence status or for applying for citizenship?
The sad part is that I honestly can't remember ever seeing the WRS certificate but I do remember filling in the form. I am a Polish national who lived and worked full time in Scotland between 2006 and 2015 then left for 2 years and returned this year, now trying to get some help via the Universal Credit while seeking jobs but it seems to be a complete waste of time. I keep providing whatever they ask for in terms of justifying my failed HRT - patiently providing proofs against all errors they entered in the system and based their decision on (errors as significant as my nationality, dates of leaving and re-entering the country, date of termination of my last employment etc).
The last blow is their request for WRS which I am unable to fulfill as most of my documents are still in another country plus the time worked between 2011 (when the scheme got abolished) and 2015 when I left the UK is obviously shorter than 5 years, making me likely ineligible for help..
Also, does anyone have any update on the tribunal stating that the WRS 2009-2011 extension was unlawful or is this still hanging in the limbo?
