Tier 2 General - reducing hours or salary

Post by UNka » Thu Jul 27, 2017 11:06 am

Hello

Being at risk of redundancy I need to come up with the proposal either to reduce my hours or reduce my salary. To what extent it possible without affecting my current visa?

Many thanks for your attention to my question.

Kind regards,

U.

If they reduce your working hours or pay they will have to inform UKBA. If the salary comes down below the required salary your visa will not valid anymore and will be curtailed.

Thank you very much for replying! Could you please let me know the threshold? Or direct me where I can check it?

Its all depends on your SOC code. Now a days minimum is 30K. You can check as per your SOC code.

Is it not that the salary is pro rata to number of working hours ? And does the minimum salary require have to include all salary supplements?

Thanks
