Indian new born in UK leaving UK without biological parents

Post by asharma » Thu Jul 27, 2017 12:49 pm

Hi

I and my wife are on ICT Tier 2 LT and PBS Dependent Visas in UK for over an year and had a new born in UK last year
We got the first Indian Passport for the baby in UK and the baby is planned to travel to India with his grandparents who are currently on Visitor visa in the UK.

The baby would not be coming back until we finally travel back to India

I know that the baby could travel back to India without any valid VISA with the biological parents, does the same holds good in case the baby travels back with the grandparents and without biological parents accompanying the child or we need to provide some papers, evidence of the relationship, etc to the grandparents to help them with Immigration in UK and then in India?

In order to re-enter the UK, the baby will need a valid UK visa.

Not a bad idea to write a letter for the grandparents to take with them citing permission for them to travel with the child.
