Tier 2 visa, help required in tracking the application

Post by sathish8427 » Thu Jul 27, 2017 4:14 pm

Hello everyone,

I submitted for Tier2 general extension application on 17'June and biometric done on 1'st of July. I haven't received any information from them yet.

In the biometric letter, it stated that I should get the decision within 3 to 4 weeks. Since already it's the end of the 4'th week I'm bit concerned.

I have planned to travel on 10 of August

Is there a way to track the application so that I can make amendments to my travel dates.
Will it usually take more than 4 weeks for decision after giving biometric

Thanks in advance

If the case is straight forward you get results in a month.

Thanks for your reply.

Since it is more than a month now, looks like my case is not straight forward. Is there any way to track it or any idea how long it's gone take. So that I can cancel my trip.

You just have to wait. It could be normal delay.

No one know how long it will take. It's up to you either wait or cancel your trip. If you had trip planned why didn't you apply in person?

The reason why I booked online is that last time I applied I got it in a month. I thought it would be the same case but I was wrong.

Thanks for your reply I will wait patiently.

Yes, wait. Hopefully you'll get it before your trip.

I haven't received any information yet :( so I canceled the trip.

I have moved house last Friday, is there a way to inform UKVI about the change of address so that in case they want to send a letter regarding the delay they can send to my new address.

Thanks in advance.
