Police clearance certificate for tier 2

Hi all, we will be applying for a tier 2 visa hopefully by next week. Now, I need help with the police clearance from UK. I am enhance dbs which was issued last month. Can I use it? Also my husband is applying with me, which one I have to apply with, the ACRO police or the basic disclosure from Scotland disclosure? Both of us have police clearances from our country only this U.K. one I am confused with. Thank you

I do not think you need clearance certificate for tier 2 from UK.

As per UKVI website

This must be from any country (except the UK) where you have lived for 12 months or more (whether continuously or in total) in the last 10 years, while aged 18 or over. This will also apply to any adult partners, whether they apply with you or make a separate application to join you if you are already in the UK.
