Hi all,
I have an unusual problem. I am on a Tier 4 student visa. I have lost my BRP while travelling abroad last month. After a prolonged process, I received my Replacement BRP vignette and returned to the UK. (despite the website clearly stating that it should be a single-entry vignette, it says multiple entry on it)
After returning, I've submitted my application for a Replacement BRP card here in the UK earlier this week. However, due to unforeseen problems I need to urgently return to my home country by next week at the latest. I have not received an invitation to submit biometric data yet, and I understand it can take as long as four weeks to receive one.
As my studies are almost finished (I only have to submit my thesis, which I can do remotely) and I am moving back home, there is no need for me to get a BRP and I am not worried if I do not receive it at all, however, I am worried about being blacklisted or facing issues or a fine when I travel to the UK in the future due to not obtaining a replacement BRP.
Does anyone have similar experiences (leaving the country before submitting their biometrics) or have advice on this?
Thanks!
