The question is what is the child's nationality.

Did the child inherit your EEA nationality from you?
Was the child registered as an Indian citizen by descent?
Has the child lost either the EEA citizenship or Indian citizenship? (possible depending countries involved and timing of events).

Depending on the answers, the child may hold citizenship of the EEA state, India or neither. In which case the child would be stateless.

What EEA country is in question?
