Post flight refugee in U.K. applying for his partner

Post by Minicko » Sat Jul 29, 2017 1:06 pm

Hi,
I need help and will be very grateful for any tips in advance.

First question is if my partner has ILR ( indefinite leave to remain) refugee settlement in UK and am non EU living in EEA country, which application we must fill in in order to join him in UK? Is his settlement as a refugee the same as any other person who has ILR? I started to fill in the application on visa4uk but after I got confused if I have to print and fill in the post flight refugee application on gov.uk for family reunion? The thing is in the on line application on visa4uk they ask about the passport number of the sponsor and my boyfriend does not have one!? If I print and fill in the application from gov.uk (settlement’ application form VAF4a + ELT annex) how to pay and get an appointment at the UK embassy?

Second question is: my partner has 2 non salaried jobs which means getting paid hourly. In order to meet financial requirement, should we apply under Category A or B?

Thank u very much for the time and answer in advance

If you are a post-flight family, then you will need to apply under Appendix FM in the same way as the family of a settled person.

You will qualify under Variable salary cat A, provided he has been with his employer for 6 months or more.

Thanks a million times for your kind answer.
Can u please specify this route of application more clearly? We are only girl friends boy friends and we we became friends after he got his first asylum residency 5 years ago. We are not family member right? Is it the same as anyone with ILR in the Uk who wants to bring his partner to marry? Or for refugee settlement is a different kind of application?
Thanks again:)

Dear Obie,
I read the Appendix FM carefully, still don't get which application I must choose? Shall I go to visa4 uk online application and fill in the settlement fiance visa?
Sorry to bother u, it might look stupid to u but I'm nervous and worried and confused

I found out that I must apply under : settlement, settlement, marriage route.
I have only another question: my fiancé has a full time non salaried job, he used to have a part time job to reach the financial requirement, this's year his salary has increased and he has worked at the part time job only till Mai, is it ok if we attache the 6 months payslips of his full time job along with payslips of his part time job for only 3 months? Should we explain about it in our cover letter?
