I am coming to the UK on a working holidaymaker VISA in about a week and was thinking about switching to an HSMP to remove the work restrictions that the working holidaymaker has if I decided that I wanted more than a working holiday. This was all fine under the old system, but I just realised that the system is now chaning.
Under the new Teir based system I can't switch from a working holidaymaker to an HSMP, so if I am going . I should be able to apply for an HSMP before Feb 29, but I probably won't have the evidence required for FLR at that point and in particular I certainly won't have an HSMP letter.
Does anybody know what arrangements would apply if I apply for an HSMP before Feb 29 and then apply for FLR (HSMP) after Feb 29? Would I still be able to get in under the old system if I do this?
