Work visa

Hi, I am a spouse of an Irish citizen with 2 minors (both ire citizens) on an NZ passport. We are wanting to return to Ireland to live. I need to be able to work, ideally contract or temporary casual work ( kids are young). I can't see a way of getting a work visa without getting a perm job offer, not something that suits our situation. I need to be flexible as husbands parents are ailing and live in NI. Any help on how to get a visa or what to apply for appreciated.
