Tier 2 Dependent Extension - Main applicant is on ILR

Hi all,

I am not able to find the answer anywhere here, hope you can help.

I switch from Tier 2 General to ILR in 2016.
My wife's Tier 2 Dependent visa will be expired in Sep 2017.
I am going to leave the current sponsor in 2 weeks.

In this case, can my wife extent her Tier 2 Dependent visa when I no longer work for the sponsor? Or she needs to change to other visa category?

She can keep extending as pbs dependent.

How about the CoS? When I fill in the application form, one of the question is "What is the length of Mrs XIAONAN ZHOU's CoS?", does it mean that my wife needs a CoS?

This would be very tricky as I no longer work for the sponsor.

She can keep extending as pbs dependent.

if u enter 3 years, as that is how long the pbs dependent leave is extended for when main applicant has changed to ilr, they will understand. this is not a unique case for them, as it happens all the time and they would know that there is no more cos now
