Employee Hours on the Payslip

Post by Needo » Mon Jul 31, 2017 5:32 pm

Hello To All Gurus
I am preparing for my extension as T1 (Ent) which is due soon. I need help from all Gurus regarding an Employee hours on the payslip.
I have an employee who is working on Fixed pay. Her fix pay is well above 130hours@National Living Wage.
The question is that do i need to show hours on her payslip? Or will it get refused if they do not see hours on the payslip written clearly.

Hours worked should be on payslips. Normally accounting softwares generate payslips which show hourly rate and number of hours worked.

There is no requirement to have hours on the payslip.

I have personally got my extension and ILR without providing payslips with any hourly wage or hours worked on the payslip.
My comments are in no way meant to be advisory. I have no professional knowledge of immigration. These are based on my own experience, convictions and personal interpretation of publicly available information.

Appreciate if you can point to anything in the immigration rules or in the guidance that says this is needed.
Accounting software can only print information it is given. And most fixed pay jobs are set up as monthly pay rather than hourly wages.

Thank you very much Gurus,
Marcnath your experience is valuable coz based on reality and you have gone through that.

Faheemryk your reply is logical and make sense as well coz otherwise it will be very difficult for UKVI to calculate all their hours and reach conclusion.
Anyhow there is no such thing mentioned in the Guidance or at least I could not see it.

Anyways thank you very much for your valuable comments.

You have to state the hourly rate in the Application form under the Job Creation table. That is what UKVI uses for calculations.
