Kindly Advice ( child born in Pakistan with British father )

Post by jani82 » Mon Jul 31, 2017 10:17 pm

Dear All,

I have got my ILR in 2012 and British Passport in 2015.My daughter was born in 2013 in Pakistan. Now my wife and my daughter are living with me here in UK on dependent visa. My wife ILR due in 2019. My question is can i apply Naturalization under section 3(1) for my daughter? If not then what will be the best solution for her to get British citizenship? Thank you in advance.

Best Regards

Junaid

Child's UK Immigration status will be in line with the less-privileged parent.

Child will need to get ILR (at the same time as mother) and then can be registered as a British citizen under Section 3(1).
I am not a lawyer or immigration advisor. My statements/comments do not constitute legal advice. E&OE. Please do not PM me for advice.
