Tier 2: Travelling abroad for more than a month on Tier 2

Hi All,

I am on Tier 2 visa. I would be grateful if someone may please clarify the following:
1) Can I go to my home country for 5 to 6 weeks annual leave (paid leaves)?
2) Do my sponsor needs to inform UKVI that I am going abroad?
3) On my return, do I have to show any documents (other than valid Tier 2 visa and passport) to the immigration officer at the airport?

Yes ,no issues. You'll need letter though from employer at time of ILR
2) Do my sponsor needs to inform UKVI that I am going abroad?
No.
3) On my return, do I have to show any documents (other than valid Tier 2 visa and passport) to the immigration officer at the airport?

Passport and BRP. Immigration officer usually ask some basic questions.
