Hi, I am totally stuck and rapidly losing hope.
We applied for my wife's spousal settlement visa in March in Tel Aviv, I am a British Citizen and we have been living there together for many years. I was working as a freelance marketing consultant and had earned £24,000+ in the 6 months prior to the application, and also own a flat in the UK which rents out at £1,625 per month. We received notification that we had been put on hold due to the supreme court decision, and ascertained that we hadn't submitted the correct documentation. We then submitted additional documents including 5 years of UK bank statements and notarized accounts from my Israeli accountant. Yesterday we heard that the Home office has upheld their decision to pause us and will be sending back my wife's passport (they did not specifically say we have been rejected). I have moved over to the UK in search of work and have been offered a job for £60,000 per anum. Should we cancel the original application and reapply, or try to submit further proof of income by sending the contract? Does anyone have any idea why the home office have put us on pause? Will the new contract help (as I won't have been working there for 6 months).
Thanks for any advice and support - I'm losing my mind, and panicking that they will reject us.
