i want to know if its possible to go to uk for a visit, my permit is from Netherlands

residence card for a family member of an eu citizen.

polish gf, moved to NL , have the above permit.. but not married only living together.

can I go alone without her?
if i must go with her do we need to take something along to show ..

also same as to travel to ireland.

You can go along with her or if she is already there you can go to join her (need proof she is already there). You basically need your residence card and proof of your relationship for 2 years. I know in Netherlands it is only 6 months but for UK it is 2 years, it can be proof of living together or joint bank account even pictures or skype calls etc. You just need proof of durable relationship for 2 years. In most cases when you travel along with her and show your residence card they will give you entry but nevertheless you should have all this.
