Naturalisation Acknowledgement Letter

Post by fedora43 » Fri Aug 04, 2017 5:26 pm

Hi, I have completed form AN. I just received both my acknowledgement letter and biometric letter. The oddity is that the acknowledgement letter is littered with errors. For instance, they claim I gave them 3 Home Office letters, when I only provided two. Or as a second example, it claims I provided one p60, when I provided 10. Further, to make matters more confusing, the letter fails to acknowledge that I submitted my BRP, paystubs or my Knowledge of Life in the UK test certificate. It merely states I proved "7 supporting documents". Which again is quite strange as I provided 15 supporting documents. I am a bit concerned they have lost or tampered with the documents.

I assume my application was "hastily checked" and that I should not read the acknowledgement letter too literally. I tried calling the Home Office but was sent around on a merry goose chase. Eventually I sent an email to: nationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk only to receive an automatic response telling me to further my email to: FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk I have yet to receive no reply.

Has anyone else had this sort of issue? If so what should I do?
