Good morning,
I am a EU citizen applying for British Citizenship. I have received a letter from the Home Office for the biometric enrolment. My name has the form
First_Name_With_Accent + Family_Name_In_Two_Words.
The problem is the following.
Problem 1:
In the biometric enrolment letter, my first name has no accent
Problem 2:
Although the page for the post office has my full name (without the accent), I am noticing that the part of the letter adressed to me starts with
Dear Mr [Second family name only, instead of the full one]
which makes me suspect that they might have not noticed the fact that my family name is in two parts.
I theoretically have 15 days from the letter date to do perform the biometric enrolment, but a full week has juste been wasted because the Home Office sent it to the lawyer who then forwarded it to me.
Should I email the Home Office and request a name correction over this accent + check the family name is correct, or can i do this only later, if my citizenship is succesful? Anyone else had a similar issue?
many thanks,
