Cover letter schengen visa EU spouse

Hi,

My wife and kids are going to apply for scehgen visa to france.I hold british passport.
Can you please help me with the sample cover letter that I have to mention about I am travelling together with the family.

I am not going to submit accommodation proof or booked flight tickets .Please correct me if I am wrong.

Just so that you know, you don't need cover letter as well as proof of funds and accommodation. In the application form they don't need to fill sections marked * and only provide proof for sections that you had filled.

I have even filled the section marked with * but no i can't amend the form.
Is there any chance of rejection as i have filled section marked * as well which is actually not required to fill?

you can just download the form again and fill it. I don't know what to tell you, you are not supposed to fill * but you did so try to correct it. you can't expect to reason with the embassy staffs, we all know how their service centers are, I strongly suggest you make over. If you really can't for reasons known to you, Then you can try to strike those sections and write N/A EU-family member on the side. It is going to look gibberish.
