Spouse visa as Director of Limited company

Post by Pdiddy » Mon Aug 07, 2017 1:37 pm

Hi everyone I am new here and I need help/advice regarding my application for spouse visa for my wife traveling from outside Europe.

I have most of the paperwrk ready however on financial requirement I have few problems:

1. I have payslips and dividends vouchers however they don't match payments dates to my personal account as I transferred money from business to personal account whenever I wanted. My accountant papers submitted to Hrmc shows I received minimum salary and dividends total of £26k however my personal bank statement shows a total of £23k transferred from my business over the financial year in question does this matter as with dividends you can decide not to withdraw them. Also do the dates on payslips and dividends have to match exactly with the payment transfer dates to personal bank account - if so is it just a matter of changing the dates on my payslips to match the transfers??

2. My financial year for my company is 1 Sept to 31 August each year and so I will b using accounts for 1 Sept - 31 August 2016 financial year. Due to gvt changes to contractors for public health IR35 rules I now cannot continue as a limited company and from mid July 2017 I am now being paid as a sole trader rather than limited company- so as the finance requirement in the application states that I need to show continuation of employment as director after the financial year used do I need to mention this or not as I have only been paid as sole trader for the past 2 months - my fear is if I mention that it can make my application very complex. I was thinking not to mention it and just supply the finance documents for my financial year Sept 15 -Aug 16 and then for continuation of employment supply bank statements from 1 Sept 2016 up to July 2017 when I was stil paid as director of limited company.

Any help will be appreciated
