Spouse Visa extension financial reqirements please help!

Post by mscteacher » Tue Aug 01, 2017 12:48 am

Hello everyone, any help would be very appreciated.

I am really confused about the categories which I need to apply. :?

I am currently working in a company nearly for one and half years hours permanent contract 7.50 an hour but, when I calculate my income it is not exceed the financial requirements. I do have a second job (7.50 and hour - 16 hours a week and I get paid 520 each month but, I only have 5 payslips from there.
On the other hand my wife is employed as well but she was on maternity and she has been paid 127 each week.
I am really confused about which category to apply and how to calculate my and my partner's income.

We have a joint account 12 months bank statements stamped by the bank
I got 12 months payslips from my first job and 5 payslips from second job
and my partner has got 12 months but last two months has not been paid because of maternity payment i only weeks
I would be very grateful for any answer. Thank you.

Your wife can use her 6 months pay prior to starting her maternity leave, jointly with your main employment earnings if you need to.

Thanks for the answer. But my partner's maternity is finishing this week. And how am I going to calculate my payslips? I currently work for a company for 1,5 years and from my second job I only have 5 payslips.

I don't think you've understood. Your wife should submit her payslips for the 6 month period prior to her maternity leave commencing, together with your most recent 6 months pay slips from your main employment.

Thank you very much Casa, but my confusion is also about my second job, I have started that job 6 months ago but I only got 5 payslips. So, how am I going to add that payslips on top of our income?

Will you need that top up if your wife is including her income?
How much did she earn in the 6 month period before starting her maternity leave?
and
How much did you earn in the last 6 months prior to the date you intend to submit the application?
