Tier 2 Visa sponsorship with limited company

Post by prmand » Thu Aug 10, 2017 9:29 pm

Currently i am on dependent visa working as a contractor in an IT firm through my limited company . My contract is going to end on 15th September 2017 . I have been offered a permanent role by the same employer along with the tier 2 sponsorship and my start date for permanent role is 23rd October 2017 .

So I am planning to travel to India next month to get the visa stamping for Tier 2 General visa.

However , i have few queries on the immigration laws.

I understand from my accountant that the company closure process takes 3 months of time . So, can i go for visa stamping for Tier 2 general while still being the director of a limited company ?

any help would be appreciated.
