Hi,

I was in a similar situation. I'm not too familiar with all the types of visas etc. But we didn't wanna waste our time with getting married etc. I am a British citizen, my partner is Punjabi. I fell pregnant, we submitted our application last year and still have no decision. Biometrics in December 2016. We involved our local MP two weeks ago. Still nothing. Really sad situation. We can't even live our lives. Go on normal family holidays. We also wanna get married. wishing you good luck on your immigration journey :D

Marriage (if the HO give permission) won't change your legal status. You can only apply for a Spouse Settlement or Unmarried Partner visa from your home country. Neither will having a child together necessarily give you the right to remain and will involve a very bumpy road before a decision is made on any application made in the UK.

Hi, I have actually known a friend was in a similar case and they used xxxxxxx. I had a look on their website and you can be together however there are requirements as expected?

A FLR(M) spouse or unmarried partner visa application from within the UK requires the applicant to hold valid leave in a visa category which permits switching.
