SET (LR) application travel information question

Post by wongyjimmy » Fri Aug 11, 2017 1:58 pm

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could help me with an issue regarding SET (LR) application, please?

My situation is that I have been in the UK for 11 years under Tier 4 (Student) visa, and I want to apply for the ILR under SET (LR) application. However, I have been away for a bit longer than 580 days in this 10 years period, besides I have lost my old passport (expired already ages ago), so I am not able to count the exact days for which I have been away from the UK (and therefore I do not know when I am eligible to apply for ILR).

I have tried ringing the UK Visas and Immigration contact centre and they told me to send a Subject Access Request form to the HM Passport Office, but it states on the Subject Access Request form that the HM Passport Office does not hold any information about travel that I may have undertaken with my passport. The lady from the UK Visas and Immigration contact centre also told me the airport may have it, but I do not know what does this mean because there is no contact number, right?

Does anyone know where and how I can get all of my travel information? Thank you!

You must have overall absences of 540 days or less in the 10 year period.
You need to request an SAR from UKVI.
