Hi Guys,
Thanks very much for your help in advance.
I am currently on a Tier 4 visa, and am upgrading to a Tier 2 visa with my new employer as a sponsor, applying from within the UK.
I had paid the international health surcharge (IHS) last year, and when applying for my Tier 2 visa, I typed in my IHS reference number from last year, which was accepted and paid my Tier 2 visa fee.
I now realize my IHS was only for 1 year, and my Tier 2 is for 3 years, therefore I needed a new IHS reference number.
Is there any way I can amend my Tier 2 application-Spoke to the people in IHS who said I need to cancel my application, therefore lose the application fee, resubmit a new application and get a new IHS.
I had thought I could simply update my IHS by paying for 3 years, and then add this onto my application-Would anyone have any experience or advice regarding this.
Many Thanks,
M
