Hi . I am British and married in Algeria. Please be careful think seriously about marrying an algerian. The way of life is very different from ours. The men are treated like royalty while the wife role is cooking cleaning and making babies. The man is always right and never question inshallah. First are you muslim ? If not are you going to convert?. Now listen carefully while there are many horror stories posted on the net Algeria people are truly wonderful and Algeria is in most parts beautiful country. Algerian men are jealous and possessive and can cause a lot of problems. Now there is little prospect of work and most stand around on their mobiles. Not all but some are after a green card or money.
I wish for you it's not. Make sure he is not chatting to other women on different fb or that he is not on dating sites. You will notice if you look hard enough that most fb accounts are fake. Arab women don't care either if the men are married or not. Believe me I know. While not all alike I'm just saying be careful. I wish and hope that your man is loyal and honest. Make sure he is not already married as some pass off their wives as sisters. I know all to well. Good luck and I hope it will work out for you. If you marry do it by government not by imam only.
