ILR dependent visa - Urgent my visa expiring shortly

Post by vani1102 » Sun Aug 13, 2017 10:19 pm

Hello,
Can you please help me with my situation?
My Husband got ILR on 5 years Tier-2 general route last month. I marriaged and came to uk in 2015 on 2-years Tier 2 dependent visa which is now expiring on 10 days. I am told to apply an extension to PBS dependent visa for next 3 years.
1. Is this the current link https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... nt-partner ???
2. While paying IHS, it is asking to pay £1500 as I am applying for 3 years only it should be 600. I think when I added my husband ILR details expiry date it is giving a different amount. Please suggest what to do here? Shall I pay 1500 for now and will they refund back extra 900 to me as it is 3 year visa. I am bit confused when I gave my husband ILR details, is it the correct way of doing.
3. Can i show fund maintenance as my husband's Indian savings account statement.
Please help me asap

Vani

Your heading is misleading. You are NOT applying for an ILR Dependent visa (FLR-M), you are applying as a PBS Dependent.

1. Yes

2. You must apply alone. Any overpayment you make will be refunded. You can pay IHS separately on the IHS website instead as part of your application I believe. See users experience below and it worked for him.

3. Should be ok.

Online application for PBS dependents will automatically takes to IHS payment page where they ask my husband(Main applicant) visa details. It is mandatory to fill those details and then it is asking to pay £1500 for NHS fee. In IHS website it clearly mentioned that online applicants need to pay NHS fee as part of application. Do I need to pay extra 900 in order to process my application? I am struck here, can we do a standard postal application instead of online application for PBS dependent visa?

There is no paper form for Tier 2 Dependents.

I don't know what your options are that you are seeing. We don't have access to the online forms.

Go directly to IHS website (not through the link from the application), create an account and put your details (the main applicant details are not mandatory if you go that way), then pay the £600 and get the reference number. go back to your visa application and use that number.
I had similar situation.
