Unpaid Leave on Tier 2

Post by Blattes » Mon Aug 14, 2017 12:04 pm

Hello everyone,
I wonder how many days I am allowed to take leave without paying? I am on soc 3422 and earning £20,800 for 37.5h per week. Is it going to be calculated as per month earning or annually? Thank you.

Any unpaid leave you take should be reported to UKVI if your sponsor knows their duties. This could be calculated and then make you fall short of the minimum required earning for your job.
I am not a lawyer and do not claim to be one. All my comments here are based on my opinions, experience and interpretation of the appropriate UKVI guidance documents and immigration rules.

Thank you, this calculation is based on annual earnings I assume since visa requirement is based on annual earning.
