Hi All,
Have a friend who his husband is granted reunion visa as she was granteed refugee.
They are applying for ILR and below are the few questions I have :
1. she has had no issues and played by the book . She has not passed any english course nor life in the uk as she has disability ( was granted disability on higher rate) .
She can't move much and also has loss of memory .
If she gets letter from GP, would this be good enough to be excempted from the requirement for english and life in the uk ?
2. husband has travelled on an off to the UK and stayed few month at the time but couldn't live with her due to family hardship back home.
He has started to stay with her more frequently . He is on reunion visa.
I know he won't qualify for ILR as he hasn't lived in the UK for 5 year, but can he get his visa renewed once her visa has been renewed as dependent of an ILR person ?
They have been married for 30 year plus but in the UK they have lived with each other on an off as explained above but in constant daily and hourly contact .
I appreciate your help
thanks
