Hello. My name is Aws from Iraq, Erbil. I got accepted in the University of York for this academic year 2017-2018 and I have my CAS number to apply for a Tier 4 visa. However, regarding the bank account statement showing proof of my maintenance funds, I was not aware of the 28 consecutive days rule which states that the required funds should be held in my account for 28 days. So, I have opened my account with the funds in it on 14/8 and it will complete 28 days by 11/9 . Should I start my visa application after about a week without a bank statement, but then submit a bank statement on 11/9 as a supporting document by Email? (Last year my friend sent his bank statement via email after submitting his visa application.. and his bank statement stated that he had held the money for only 5 days, yet they still accepted him)
Or should I just wait until 11/9 to apply for the visa with all my documents ready?
The second option has the risk of being late for my course start date as my course starts on 25/9, two weeks away from 11/9, and according to the visa processing times in my city, Erbil, a Tier 4 visa would take about a month to get issued, so I might be two weeks late for my course. What do you think?
Thank you for understanding. Please help me.
