Accommodation - Tier 2 Dependent

Post by leafy » Wed Aug 16, 2017 2:44 pm

Hello, I want to double check something with everyone.

I am going to apply tier 2 dependent visa for my wife in November.
I have sufficient amount of money in my bank account according to the guidance to sponsor her maintenance, hence I shall not take any letter from my employer.
I am currently living in a single room in multi-occupancy flat. The landlord will not give me any letter for another person to stay in my room. Anyway, I shall rent a different place when my wife gets the visa.

I researched the visa guidance and on this forum. What I found is that -

I do not need to provide any proof of accommodation for her - which I shall not submit. However, on the additional information section, I shall write 'I shall maintain her accommodation, leisure, food etc....'
I have to provide evidence of sufficient money to my account - which I shall submit.

Is that right? Any advice, please.
Thanks in advance.

for dependent visa, you do not need to provide a letter or proof for accommodation.
If you want to send a letter like u suggested, its fine but not needed.
