Replacement BRP visa /Single entry visa Processing time

Hi ,

I'm currently working in the UK on Tier 2 short term visa, lost my British Residential permit card (BRP) in Paris on 05th August which has put me in very bad state.
Applied for single entry visa on 07 August it's been more than 12 days there hasn't been any output though applied for fast track processing which usually takes 5 days.

Could you please help me in talking with the British Embassy in Paris and process the "Single Entry Visa/Replacement BRP Visa " to UK.I'm out of money and I might be at the risk of losing the job if don't travel soon.

How long it does it take to process the single entry visa? Is there any way to expedite the process I'm totally lost.Pls help needed

It took me 12 business days to get the visa processed .

Wait is too long though we apply for the priority visa(5 day processing) as they double check the records,so bear in mind it's better to travel back to home country with your passport and apply the replacement visa, do get the Police complaint filled (better to get translated in English if possible )which is must for applying the replacement visa.

But by opting for single day processing (750 Pounds) one of the lady who has applied along with me on the same day got her replacement BRP processed in single day.

By any chance if your near to UK , try the option of traveling by Eurotunnel I heard they verify the fingerprint and let you in emergency situation.

Pls don't waste your money calling UKVI if you have already applied for replacement visa, its a paid service .They don't escalate until 15 working days have been passed and only tell us the information status which is already seen in the TLS visa portal .

Try contacting your Employer / University staff they can help you in getting in touch with the immigration team on behalf of you which can help in expediting the processing time.

Please tell me how many days did it take you to finally get the one time replacement brp visa ?

Is there anyway after submitting the application that I can pay extra to expedite the process ?

How much time did it take for your application to get to the UKVI for a decision after you submitted it at the visa centre in Paris ?

When you went to collect your passport it must be in a courier packet, do you remeber Whitchurch courier service/ company does theUKVI use ?

Did your employer or university help you in any way ?

Would be very helpful if you can please revert to my queries.
