ILR - T2 General - Gap in National Insurance Contribution

Post by anub2016 » Wed Aug 16, 2017 8:11 pm

Hi,

I'm currently on the Tier 2 (General) visa and pay the Taxes and National Insurance (NI) through PAYE. However, when I first came to the UK on a Tier 2 Dependant visa, I was unemployed for a few months which has created a Gap in my NI records.

Could the Moderators/Experts please advise if I need to pay the relevant amount to fill in this Gap in order to be eligible for ILR and would this affect my application?

Many Thanks.

It is completely irrelevant to your ILR
